3/28/2012 Photographer Cheryl M. Phillips of Dublin, CA, has won Second Place for February in the prestigious photography contest sponsored by BetterPhoto.com, the site's founder, Jim Miotke, announced Wednesday.
More than 11,000 entries were submitted to the online photography contest, which attracted contestants from around the world and featured 10 separate categories.
Phillips's stunning image,
 "~Attack of the Little People~", garnered top honors after being submitted in the Monthly Theme category.

The contest is conducted each month. Categories include Nature and Landscapes, Animals, People, Elements of Design, Digital Darkroom, Travel and Place, Flowers, Details and Macro, Catch-All, and Monthly Theme. Judging is performed by a panel of professional photographers.

Introducing Baby Rockford!

Welcome to the world little Rocky!

I am so excited that I get to photograph another little one from this wonderful family!

I met Lara and Dan when they had their first son, Marty 3 years ago. Such a beautiful little boy...I really love it when clients turn into friends. I am thrilled to say that I get to capture his new little brother Rocky's first year! I'm really looking forward to watching how much these boys grow in the next year! So stay tuned...you will be seeing more of baby Rocky soon! Here are a few more from his newborn shoot.

Hello 2012!

Can you believe it's 2012 already?

Where did the last year go?

I'm excited to see who will end up in front of my lens over the next few months!

I wanted to be sure that everyone noted that my prices changed ever so slightly.

I really try to keep things affordable for everyone but I have to pay my bills too  :)

I've already booked all of my Saturdays in January & February but I have plenty of mid week appointments that are still available if you would like to book something.
